At Singroost, we are fully committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and enjoyable living environment for all residents. We treat any form of anti-social behaviour with the utmost seriousness and will work closely with all relevant parties—including the police—where necessary.

If you experience or witness anti-social behaviour in any Singroost student accommodation, please report it to us immediately. We are here to support you and will take swift, appropriate action.

What is Anti-Social Behaviour?

Anti-social behaviour is any action that causes—or is likely to cause—harassment, alarm, distress, nuisance, or harm to other residents, Singroost team members, contractors, visitors, or the wider community.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Making excessive noise late at night
• Smoking, vaping, drinking alcohol, or gambling within the accommodation
• Using or possessing illegal drugs
• Damaging accommodation facilities or property
• Littering or improperly disposing of personal waste in the accommodation
• Subletting your room illegally or allowing unauthorised persons to stay
• Using threatening, abusive, or inappropriate language or behaviour towards other residents or Singroost staff

How to Report Anti-Social Behaviour

You can report incidents easily and confidentially by:

• Completing our online feedback form, or
• Emailing us directly at: services@singroost.sg

We will acknowledge your report promptly and keep you updated on the steps we are taking.

What Happens After You Report?

Once we receive your report, we will investigate and take appropriate action. This may include:

1. Speaking directly with the individual(s) involved, reminding them of their obligations under the tenancy agreement and the impact of their behaviour on others
2. Notifying their guarantor, university/college, or other relevant parties (including the police where necessary)
3. In serious or repeated cases, terminating the tenancy and requiring the individual to leave the accommodation

In Case of Immediate Danger or Emergency ‼️

If someone is in immediate danger or you witness a serious incident:

• Call 999 to contact the police
• If you cannot speak, send a silent SMS to 70999 to alert the police

What Happens If I Engage in Anti-Social Behaviour?

Any resident found responsible for anti-social behaviour may face serious consequences, including:

• Formal notification to your guarantor, university/college, and other relevant parties (including the police if required)
• Termination of your tenancy agreement and eviction from the accommodation
